Nicole is a veterinary technician who moved from Charleston SC to join the TVSS team in May of 2012. She has worked in small animal veterinary hospitals for over 9 years. Surgery is her biggest passion in the veterinary field. She lives in Raleigh with 2 dogs, Allie (Shepherd/Hound mix) and Theo (Chihuahua). She also has 2 cats Jack and Toot.
In her spare time Nicole enjoys being with family and friends, doing Crossfit (she recently became a CF-L1 trainer!) , and keeping up with her favorite sports teams from Boston. During football season you can find her on Sundays glued to a TV watching the New England Patriots.
Corey is a veterinary assistant who originally grew up in Kernersville, NC before earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at UNC Greensboro. He now lives in the Clayton area with his wife and daughter. His family also includes a calico cat named Josie, and a scruffy dog named Penny. He began his journey with veterinary medicine in 2012 working at a pet hospital, and fell in love with the opportunity to work with animals everyday.
Corey became a member of the TVSS team in the beginning of 2017. The majority of his spare time is spent with his daughter playing outside, visiting new places, and watching movies.
Alyssa is a Licensed Technician originally from Suffield, Connecticut. She came to Raleigh via Ithaca, NY after attending Cornell University and working at the College of Veterinary Medicine in their Large Animal Emergency Medicine department. She's called Raleigh home since 1994, after accepting a position in Surgery and Anesthesia at the North Carolina State Veterinary Hospital. She has a degree in Animal Health/Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science.
She continues to live in Raleigh with her husband and 2 sons. They share their home with 6 German shorthaired pointer Champion show dogs and 1 Maine Coon cat. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys competing on a National level with their show dogs and training them for field and hunt tests. She is also a Lacrosse coach at Sanderson High School in Raleigh.
Missy is a licensed Veterinary Technician who received her associates degree in veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College in 1995. She has been working in companion animal Veterinary medicine at local practices for 15 years. Currently, Missy is working at Tarboro Animal Clinic, Zebulon Animal Hospital, and works with TVSS assisting with surgeries on Tuesdays.
Missy has two sons, Cole and Casey, who keep her busy when she is not working! She and her sons share their home with three dogs: Opie (a bulldog mix), Petunia, and Charlie (Chihuahua mixes) and two cats: Kitty and Marvin.
In her spare time, Missy enjoys spending time with friends and family, quilting, reading, and traveling.
Jeff is the Director of Operations for TVSS. He supports the TVSS surgery team’s conviction of delivering exemplary customer experience and handles the behind the scenes tasks that help TVSS run smoothly. Jeff has both a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s from NC State University. Jeff comes to TVSS after working 20 years in various industries and has vast experience in project management, process engineering, maintenance, and personnel management.
In his off hours, Jeff enjoys hanging out with his wife and two kids, playing with his pack of three bulldogs and one Labrador, and agonizing over NC State athletics.
She hails from Ohio and spent a number of years working in a local animal hospital before joining TVSS in August, 2010. She helps keep TVSS running smoothly!
In her spare time she enjoys walking with her two Australian cattle dogs, Tess and Callie. Marilyn also loves working in the yard, doing crafts and refinishing furniture as well as spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
